Installation of the Driveway.
Excavation of the driveway will be to a minimum depth of 100mm and up to 200mm if required, removing all vegetation, topsoil and exposing a suitable sub base. All manholes, gullies and drainage will be installed prior to the site being covered with suitable stone. Shuttering will then be positioned and fixed to the desired shape at which point all levels and falls will be checked.
The driveway will be constructed with a 100mm thick concrete slab, which is air entrained and has fibermesh reinforcement added. The concrete is tamped and trowelled out prior to adding
the colour and release of your choice. The whole area is then printed with the pattern.
Once printed, the driveway will be closed off using hazard tape. The responsibility for the driveway then passes to you to prevent any damage to the wet concrete by arrival of guests, dogs, cats, postman etc. After the curing period of 24-48 hours, the crack control joints will
be cut into the slab (subject to time of year).
The release powder will be brushed off and the driveway will be power washed to expose the imprinted pattern. Any minor flaws or imperfections will then be attented to, prior to sealing the whole area, leaving you with a beautiful and pristine driveway
The whole area will be cleared and left in a clean condition as found when first attending
the site.
